Differences between International Air Transport and International Express
When we want to send goods abroad and make inquiries with freight forwarders, the customer service staff of freight forwarders always ask which way to choose, by air or by express? So what is the difference between international air transport and international express delivery? Which way is more cost-effective and what advantages do they have? Summarize a few points for your reference!
As for freight, the price of each freight forwarder is different. We suggest that you personally go to talk with the freight forwarder, and no more relevant information will be released here.
1. Subject of transport:
Firstly, the main body of international air transport is the major airlines, such as Air China, Japan Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Shenzhen Airlines, Thai Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Northwest Airlines and so on. Freight companies use these large international airlines to deliver your consignment to a designated destination (that is, the airport of the recipient city).
The main bodies of international express delivery are major express companies, such as China Post EMS Express, DHL Dunhao, TNT Tiandi Logistics, UPS United Parcels, FEDEX FedEx and other major international express companies. The parcels we want to send are mainly delivered to our destinations through these international express companies. But the main thing we usually deal with is international freight forwarding.
2. Scope of service:
International air transport can only be delivered to the airport, while international express delivery is usually door-to-door.
3. Service content:
Express: Pack domestic and destination customs clearance agent services, package delivery, but not the destination country tariffs.
